My Padel Background
I have been playing Padel since 2018, having picked up the sport playing it at someone's house. I played in various places around Sussex whilst my place of work were looking to get courts installed, but took a break during COVID. Once my local club got two courts installed back in 2023, I was playing multiple times a week with various players and levels.
At this time, I reached top 250 in the UK, however completing studies and work got in the way of competing. In that time, I was 2 x Club Champion at West Worthing Tennis Club in the Padel Men's Doubles and also competed in multiple Grade 3 events, finishing 3rd in a handful.
Since then, I have completed my BPCA Qualification to become a professional Padel coach, and have been coaching and managing at Padel Project UK - Worthing, based in Angmering, since August 2025.
My goal is to continue to coach players of all levels and abilities across Sussex, and work to get back into competing again with a first aim of reaching top 100 in the UK.
My Tennis Background
I have been playing tennis since the age of 10, having first trying the sport by a coach coming into my middle school offering lessons. I soon joined the local tennis club and learned my trade there between the ages of 10 and 18, regularly competing in the junior club championships. At the age of 16, I completed my LTA Level 1 Coaching qualification and then began coaching at Field Place Tennis Club. At 14, I joined West Worthing Tennis Club and started playing and coaching there, and at 17 completed the LTA Level 2 Coaching Qualification. I joined the West Worthing Coaching team, primarily helping to run junior and adult groups, and running lessons for both, whilst also acting as hitting partner for performance level players.
I continued to play throughout, and at West Worthing won the Men's Singles and Doubles, and three times Mixed Doubles, in the Club Championships, and also won the Men's Singles & Mixed Doubles in the club championships at David Lloyd Worthing. Now, I compete regularly in Division's 1 & 2 of the Sussex County Leagues playing for David Lloyd Worthing.
Alongside this, I also was one of the youngest ever people to pass the LTA National Referee Course at 18 and have officiated from local level up to assisting at ITF Junior events. I am a qualified tennis coach, competition organiser, referee and line umpire.
Outside of Sport!
There is not much life outside of sport! I am a Brighton & Hove Albion Men's Season Ticket Holder, regularly travelling to away games when I can. I am also an avid support of my local team, Worthing, again following them home and away when I can. I also enjoy getting to Brighton Women's games as and when I can, and have become a firm support of Slavia Prague after visiting Prague a few years ago.
I visit the gym when I can, am currently training for the 2027 Brighton Marathon, and complete Parkruns with friends on free Saturdays.
I am an avid traveller, getting away to various countries around Europe when I can, with some personal favourites being Valencia, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Monaco. Alongside this, I have good comprehension in French, German and Spanish, whilst also trying to learn Swedish and Italian on Duolingo!
In other work, I completed a degree in Educaton Studies through the Open University, achieving a 2:1, and have gained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a pGCE through the South Downs SCITT and University of Brighton respectively. My other jobs have included receptionist, bar staff, Football Operations Officer, Football Participation Officer and Supply Teacher in both primary and secondary school. I currently voluntarily help to run the newly formed Worthing FC Girls U14 Academy Team.
